Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: September 4, 2026
1. Overview
This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for paid Chattypie subscriptions. It applies alongside our Terms of Service.
Chattypie subscriptions are sold through Paddle, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle handles billing, receipts, and payment processing, so your purchase is also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms.
2. Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel at any time — from Settings → Billing in your dashboard, or by emailing [email protected].
When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period — you keep full access until then. After that date you are not charged again and your workspace moves to the Free plan. We do not charge a cancellation fee.
3. Refunds
Subscription fees are billed in advance and are generally non-refundable for partial or unused periods once a billing period has started. That said:
- We honor any refund or cancellation rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law.
- If you were charged in error, charged twice, or the Service was materially unavailable, contact us and we'll make it right with a full or partial refund.
- If you subscribed or upgraded by mistake, or you're simply not happy, reach out — we review refund requests individually and in good faith, especially soon after a charge.
The Free plan is free of charge, so there is nothing to refund on it.
4. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] from your account email with the date and amount of the charge (or the receipt Paddle sent you). You can also get help directly from Paddle, the Merchant of Record, at paddle.net.
We review each request, and where a refund is approved it is issued to your original payment method through Paddle — typically within 14 days of approval.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the date at the top of this page. For any question about cancellations or refunds, contact [email protected].
